Inside a landmark operation

Since the beginning of the year, Geoffroy Barre and Julien Hergault have been providing commentary for each round of the Séries by Peter Auto. The highlight of this first season of collaboration came in early July, with Le Mans Classic.

With fifteen fixed cameras positioned around the circuit, three wireless (HF) cameras in the pits, and a dedicated terrace stage, the production set-up by Peter Auto and AMP Visual was particularly impressive.

In the pits, Vincent Franssen and Bruno Vandestick delivered immersive coverage, interviewing drivers during the iconic herringbone start procedures and providing live reactions straight from the pitlane during the races.

In the commentary booth, Julien Hergault covered all nine grids on track—nearly 800 cars in total! He was joined by motorsport historian Jean-Frédéric Harvey, as well as a range of special guests including Jean-Pierre Malcher, Lionel Robert, Pascal Gaudard, Romain Joffroy, Karine Blanchard, Francisco Guzman-Giraud, and Franziska Le Gusquet.
