2025 Calendar of Historic Events
What to do in 2025? We wanted to answer this question by proposing a calendar of historic motoring events… and we were wrong! Listing them is an impossible mission, as there are so many. Here are fifty, chosen somewhat arbitrarily, we admit, in France, Europe, and beyond.

For the fifth year running, the Automobile Club de Monaco has chosen Valencia as the venue for the 300 crews taking part in its rally, which is reserved for models that competed in the modern version between 1911 and 1983.

Organised by Ferdi Porsche (Ferry’s grandson), this original event attracts a host of celebrities and collectors to a 650-metre ice circuit built on an airport.

The new, the extraordinary and the unexpected are vying for the limelight at Porte de Versailles. The 49th edition of the show celebrates French Formula 1, from the 1960s to the present day, as well as the Citroën DS, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary.

The Amelia Concours d’Elegance

One of the most prestigious Concours d’Elegance takes place in a heavenly setting, on the golf course of an island in the Sea Islands. Alongside the ‘competition’, the manufacturers take advantage of the event to present their new products.

The Ice St Moritz

Born in 2019, the Concours d’Elegance has established itself as a benchmark event, thanks to the sponsorship of brands such as Richard Mille. The categories competing this year are: Barchettas, Open Wheels, Concepts and Racing Cars.

Sebring 12 Hours Classic
Florida, USA
6-9 March 2025
Created by HSR on the model of the 24 Hours of Daytona Classic, the event brings together racing cars and vintage aircraft at the World War II B-17 training base, which has since become a legendary circuit.

Espíritu de Montjuïc

As tradition dictates, Peter Auto will be looking for the sun to open its season in Southern Europe, more specifically in Catalonia this year. More than 300 racing cars are expected, mainly GTs and prototypes.

Tour Auto

7-12 April 2025
From Paris to Nice, via Dijon, Mulhouse, Clermont-Ferrand and Villeneuve lez Avignon. The event brings together 230 cars, including a number of Lancia Stratos and Alpine A106s, the models in the limelight this year.

Techno Classica

With 1,250 exhibitors from over forty different countries, it is the largest show dedicated to classic cars. In fact, the site is so huge that it can be a bit confusing.

Goodwood Members’ Meeting

Held on the 3.8km circuit that hosted the Tourist Trophy in the 1950s, this meeting is intended to be exclusive and is only open to people who have taken out a subscription with the GRRC.

Milano Monza Motor Show

First held in 1896, it is the oldest motoring event in the world. It starts at sunrise from Hyde Park and follows the old A23 road for a distance of 87km. To be eligible, cars must have been built before 1905.
